Our Story

The Belief That Started It All

Rising energy costs don't just take money — they take time. Time spent worrying about the next bill. Time spent choosing between what your family needs and what you can afford.

SunPol Solar was founded in 2024 because we believe that doesn't have to be the story. When a family saves money on energy, they're not just saving dollars — they're gaining freedom. Freedom to plan vacations, invest in their kids, or simply stop stressing about the electric bill.

Most solar companies start by talking about panels. We start by asking: what would your family do with an extra $150 a month — for the next 20 years?

Based in Newington, Connecticut, SunPol serves homeowners across Connecticut and Massachusetts — from Hartford and West Hartford to Massachusetts communities and beyond. Read our Newington story →

Everyone in solar talks about saving money. I think about it differently. When your energy bill drops by $150 a month, that's not just dollars — that's a family dinner every week, a weekend trip every month, a sense of control over your future.

What Sets Us Apart

What Simple, Transparent, and Financially Smart Looks Like

We Own What We Install

Up to 30% Below Cash Price

Our prepaid lease pricing starts at $2/watt — up to 30% below the cash purchase price. Every dollar we save you is a dollar back in your family's pocket.

Premium Equipment, No Shortcuts

Premium Tier 1 solar panels. Enphase microinverters. 25-year warranties. We use the best because reliability means you don't have to think about your roof for decades.

Local. Always.

Our Process

Transparent From Day One

When you contact SunPol, here's what happens. We analyze your Eversource or UI usage history and satellite imagery of your roof. We design a system sized specifically to your home's consumption — not a cookie-cutter template.

If solar doesn't make financial sense for your home, we'll tell you that too. We'd rather earn your trust than make a sale.

Once you decide, SunPol handles every detail: engineering, permits, your town's building inspection, the installation itself, and Eversource or UI interconnection.

After your system is live, prepaid lease customers get ongoing monitoring and maintenance for the full 20-year term — included at no extra cost.

Our Principles

The Principles Behind Every Installation

Community First

We live in the region we serve. SunPol supports local hiring, partners with trusted regional suppliers, and reinvests in the Connecticut and Massachusetts communities where our customers live.

Environmental Responsibility

Every system we install reduces fossil fuel dependence. But we don't use guilt to sell solar — we use math. The environmental benefit is real, and it's a bonus on top of the financial case.

Families, Not Transactions

We measure success by the families we've helped — not the number of panels we've sold. Every consultation starts with your goals, your budget, and your timeline.
