Your your utility bill is only going up.

Still have questions?
Solar is a big decision. Here are honest answers to the most common questions.
What does "Prepaid Lease" actually mean?
You make one upfront payment and then pay nothing for 25 years. No escalators, no hidden fees. SunPol handles all maintenance and monitoring.
What if I sell my house?
The lease transfers to the new owner — and solar can increase your home's resale value. Buyers appreciate predictable energy costs.
Is my roof good enough for solar?
Most Connecticut roofs work well for solar. We assess your roof's age, condition, angle, and sun exposure during the estimate process. If your roof needs replacing first, we can coordinate that too.
How much will I actually save?
Savings depend on your roof, usage, and system size. We model the numbers for your specific home so you see realistic projections before signing anything.
What happens on cloudy days or at night?
Solar panels still produce energy on cloudy days (just less). At night, you draw from the grid using credits banked during the day through Connecticut's RRES Netting program.
What's the difference between the Prepaid Lease and PPA?
With the Prepaid Lease, you make one upfront payment and then pay nothing for 25 years — maximum savings potential. With the PPA, there's zero upfront cost and you pay a contracted rate designed to be below your utility. Both include maintenance and monitoring.
Why SunPol over the big national companies?
We're local. Our office is in Newington. We answer the phone. We don't use high-pressure sales tactics. We only install Tier 1 panels.
